Traveling from Anchorage to the Wrangell Mountain staging area is an incredible scenic journey. Plan on 7-8 hours to drive the 275 miles, detailed driving directions will be provided.

Licenses, tags, registration hunt fees (Mt Goat permit), transportation to and from Anchorage, meals and lodging before and after hunt, gratuities, Prevailing tip rates for guides $75 to $125 per day.

 

These are suggested dates. All hunts are one client and one guide unless other arrangements are made. We reserve to right to shift hunting dates on hunts booked 2 or more years in advance. Dates are fixed 1 year prior to hunt.

  • Preferred Method - Drive Yourself.
    By driving yourself you are in control of your timetable. If you finish your hunt early, take some time to explore Alaska, fish, shop enjoy the rest of your time here. You have the most flexibility by having your own rental car. You can rent a car from Anchorage or Valdez
